Council committees and meetings 2010-13

Council has four standing committees and a number of subcommittees which special and joint committees report to - overall to set policy and guide Council in the fulfilment of its responsibilities. By appointment, Council representatives are involved in an advisory capacity on external groups.

Council and its standing committees mostly meet on a six-weekly cycle. Each standing committee meets in the fortnight prior to the full Council meeting. Meetings are publicly notified. The dates and times for all meetings are advertised in the Waikato Times and are also online at Council and committee meeting schedule for 2012.
