2009 Results
ReStyle 09 received a record number of entries and the judges had a difficult job selecting winners with the high quality of garment that were received. Check out the Waikato Times article about 2009 Supreme Winner Lauren Briffault who's garment was made from apple skins and fruit stickers. Since the show Lauren has featured in a women's magazine and her garment was showcased on TV One's Breakfast show.

What is ReStyle?
ReStyle, coordinated by Trash to Fashion Charitable Trust, is a 'wearable art' competition that is open to students and designers in the greater Waikato region, encouraging them to design wearable art that is made by recycling and reusing organic and inorganic materials.
The objectives of the competition are:
- To raise awareness of waste minimisation issues, in particular, the concept of recycling and reuse
- To encourage youth to get involved in environmental initiatives
- To encourage creativity and design talents.
