 - Minor Review of Hamilton Lake Domain Management Plan - (Reserves Act 1977)

Council has prepared a Minor Review of the Hamilton Lake Domain Management Plan as required under the Reserves Act 1977.

The minor review has been developed to incorporate an environmental management plan to recognise measures to reduce any potential risk arising from the historic arsenic residue within the lake bed sediments.

As well as the incorporation of an environmental management plan the minor review also proposes other necessary minor amendments so that the plan is up-to-date. This includes amendments such as updating references to documents and legislation relevant to the plan.

4pm 19 February 2010.

The minor review of the plan is open now for submissions to 4pm 19 February 2010.

Alternatively, copies of the minor review of the plan and submissions form are available from Council at:

  • Parks and Gardens Unit, Level 4, Council Offices, Garden Place, Hamilton
  • The plan can also be viewed at all Hamilton City Libraries.
