New Zealand’s Largest Dog Walk
Owning dogs can be a truly rewarding experience. Hamilton City Council and the Pet Doctors would like to invite the city’s nine and a half thousand dog owners to our Paws in the Park organised dog walk around Hamilton Lake. Hamilton City Council would like to acknowledge the city’s responsible dog owners by holding this fun day for our four legged friends, let’s attempt to make this New Zealand’s largest dog walk.
Assembly for the Pet Doctors Lake Walk will be at 2:30pm. Pet Doctors are thrilled to be associated this year and are looking forward to seeing a huge turnout of dogs for the walk around the lake. All dogs that take part in the walk will be given a FREE doggie toy. Vet nurses will be on hand to perform FREE blood pressure checks during the day. Plus there will be face painting for the kids and some specials on Frontline Plus flea products just in time for summer.
The day will also include;
- stalls,
- a bouncy castle,
- many spot prizes
- and fun competitions.
On the day there will be a parade of dogs that have been adopted from the Animal Education & Control Centre. These dogs with their owners will lead the walk around Hamilton Lake.
Please remember for everyones enjoyment, dogs need to be on their leads at all times.
