Introduction of Cardholder/remote access service to Fundview and Breakout

Community Development Unit and the Hamilton City Libraries have been working together to bring FundView and Breakout to Community groups and Individuals who need access to funding through an on-line ‘cardholder’ service.

Card holder service means Hamilton Libraries members will be able to access the FundView and Breakout databases through the library website.  This service is free for Hamilton library card holders, and will provide users with access to information about grants and scholarships available to community groups and to individuals pursuing study or training.

The Cardholder service has been available to library members since December 2010.

Most community groups depend hugely on grants for their operational costs and expenses. Knowing where, who and how to access these grant makers is key to the successful operation of these services.

Individuals who are studying or undertaking further training can check to see whether there are any scholarships or grants available to support them.
