Bylaws

These bylaws have been approved by the elected wing of Hamilton City Council. They are bylaws which relate to the city of Hamilton.

Please note that in some cases they may be composite bylaws, i.e., they may contain the orginal bylaw plus amendments and should not be used for legal purposes.

The following Waikato District Bylaws will continue to apply to the residents who have recently become part of Hamilton City Council due to the boundary changes. Please refer to the areas on this map coloured purple.

These bylaws will stay in effect until a decision has been made with regards to encompassing these bylaws into Hamilton City Council Bylaws.
