Community Outcome:	Safety and Community Spirit 4.2 - Promotes awareness and involvement in community activities and events.

To ensure fair and reasonable participation by members of the community in events which Hamilton City Council sponsors.

No person or group will be excluded from a Hamilton City Council sponsored event on the grounds of religious or political beliefs or cultural heritage.
No person or group will use Hamilton City Council sponsored events for direct political or religious promotion, or for commercial advantage other than approved sponsors' promotion.
Where Council is one of a number of sponsors for an event this Policy will be communicated to other sponsors.
