Variations/Plan Changes to the Hamilton City Proposed District Plan

Changes to the Hamilton City Proposed District Plan are achieved through the formal Plan Change process.   Those Variations which have yet to have decisions made on them are now converted to Plan Changes.  A Plan Change means an alteration to the District Plan (under Part 2 of Schedule 1 of the Resource Management Act).  A Plan Change can be initiated by Council or by members of the public.  The table below includes all proposed Variations/Plan Changes that affect the Proposed District Plan, for further information on their status click here.
