Hamilton water complies with the Ministry of Health Drinking Water Standards for New Zealand.
From the grading system of A1 to E, Hamilton's water is an 'A-a' grade. This means both our water treatment (A) and distribution (a) have maintained one of the highest grades since the system started in the 1960s.
Water quality is continuously monitored and maintained to ensure that it is safe for drinking.
