Family friendly day
Staff may chose to use one day each year as a day to spend with their family. We like to encourage our staff to plan these days and to take them at a mutually beneficial time.
Community day
One day per year is available to assist and support staff to balance their work and community commitments.
Annual leave
Four weeks annual leave per annum in accordance with the provisions of the Holidays Act 2003 and its amendments, or in the event of the period of employment being less than one year, a payment in lieu of annual holidays at the rate of eight per cent of gross income for the period of employment.
Continuous service leave entitlement
Since July 1 2006, after six years continuous service, employees are entitled to five weeks annual leave at the end of the sixth and subsequent years service.
Sick leave
Permanent staff are entitled to 10 days sick leave per year.
Paid parental leave
We support our 'new parents' with up to six weeks of 'top up' to full salary for primary caregivers, and up to two weeks paid leave for the non-primary caregiver.
Bereavement leave
Staff are entitled up to five days leave for bereavement, depending on their circumstances. |
