Hamilton's library services include the central city library in Garden Place and five community libraries, located in St Andrews, Glenview, Chartwell, Hillcrest and Dinsdale.
Membership is free for people living in the city.
Hamilton City Libraries is your place to relax, enjoy, think, and send your mind somewhere. There is something for everyone, with more than 400,000 items on offer, including a great range of books, DVDs, CDs, archives, magazines, newspapers and databases.
As well as enjoying our collections, you can join in one of our holiday programmes, bring the young ones to a playgroup session, listen to guest authors, surf the web for free, or bring along your laptop and use our free wifi.
