He ai ki nga moemoea o te tangata hei whakaputa ki te ao i runga i te kaupapa whakanui; me puawai ano ko nga moemoea o te iwi puna tangata i te tuatahi.

Just as an individual person dreams fantastic happenings to release the inner forces which cannot be encompassed by ordinary events, so too a city needs it's dreams.

Go to -  Hamilton"s Proposed Arts Agenda

Hamilton’s arts and culture offers visitors and residents alike a unique experience of the city’s identity. A theatre performance at The Meteor can demystify an unfamiliar culture. A visit to Te Winika at the museum can ground us in the familiar, and the visual arts, contemporary and traditional can mirror both.

An exploration of Hamilton, through the city's arts and culture offerings will challenge, reinforce and celebrate the stories, legacies and dreams that have created and will continue to create the city of Hamilton's identity.
