Adopt a Dog

Dog adoptions are a way to re-home suitable dogs with responsible dog owners. Dogs available for adoption can be viewed below or visit the Animal Education and Control Centre.

How Much Does it Cost to Adopt a Dog?

$210. All dogs adopted from us are registered, microchipped and desexed. All dogs available for adoption have passed a behavioural assessment, to ensure they are of suitable temperament to join a home.

Puppies under 6 months old are also given their first vaccination against parvo and kennel cough while in our care. There is an extra charge of $30 for this service.

The kennel staff work with the dogs daily and know them best, so if you have any questions about a particular dog please contact them on 07 838 6664.

Adoption criteria apply and an adoption application will be approved or declined at the discretion of Animal Education and Control staff.

Name: Tammy (top) and Timmy (bottom)
Breed: Huntaway mix's
Age: 6-7 weeks
Sex: Tammy's a girl, Timmy's a boy
Grooming and Exercise:
Tammy's coat is slightly fluffy, although both will have easy care coats that require little grooming.
They will require regular exercise. Being youngsters they need training, love and guidance as they grow.
Other Comments: Gorgeous little guys who had a very rough start to life - found alone at the park; malnourished, flea ridden and full of worms. Tim/Tam are now the happiest sweetest little pups who love everybody, and are looking for that special someone to love them back.
