Animal Education & Control
The Animal Education and Control centre is a state-of-the-art complex and the first in New Zealand to have the two organisations situated together as a 'one stop shop'.
The functions of the two operations are separate, with animal control issues undertaken by Council and animal welfare issues by the SPCA.
The public are welcome to visit the Animal Education and Control centre during opening hours:
7 days a week
12.30pm - 4.30pm
(Closed on statutory holidays)
