Hamilton City Council has launched a bus promotion campaign which is both encouraging ongoing use of public transport and thanking people who are already using the buses. In recent months, bus patronage in Hamilton has continued to increase. Latest figures show a 15 per cent month on month increase. At this year's third citizenship ceremony held tonight [Monday, 25 September] Hamilton will welcome an increased number of new citizens. The ceremony will be held at Founders Theatre tonight at 7pm. Waikato Museum is calling for entries to the Fieldays No. 8 Wire National Art Award which will run from 15 December 2006 till 9 January 2007.
