Hamilton City Council's move to reduce the ratepayer subsidy on cemetery burial fees will see a rise of several hundred dollars in fees in the coming year. Hamilton City Council has completed its final budget meeting for the 2007/2008 financial year and is still planning a slight reduction in rates from what was outlined in the ten year plan adopted last year. Roundabouts in Hamilton will be patrolled by Police from this week as the next stage of the INDIK8 campaign that began in February. A fish pass, which allows small fish to access one of the streams running into the Waikato River when water levels are low, has just been built at Bankwood Stream.
