The process of gathering feedback on the Hamilton 400 V8 event from interested parties will close off at the end of this week to ensure momentum is maintained on the formal review. Hamilton Zoo animals will soon be more secure, with the erection of a new perimeter fence around two-thirds of the facility. Hamilton Zoo is thrilled to announce the arrival of a new baby Cotton-topped Tamarin. The baby, whose sex is still unknown, was born on March 31 to parents, Florence and Lucas. Cyclist numbers have risen significantly in Hamilton in the last twelve months. Overall, a recent annual cycle cordon count, part of a study which has taken place since 1980, shows that cyclist levels are over 10 percent higher than last year. The first bus lane in Hamilton will go into operation on Monday 5 May 2008, the first day of the second term.
